The Little Big Swing

The Little Big Swing is the new single seat swing designed to be suspended from a suitable tree – featuring all the rugged engineering and craftsmanship of the traditional Big Swing.

The base price for The Little Big Swing is £175.00. This is for the swing assembly suitable for a branch height of 5m or lower. For longer rope sizes, use the drop down options below.

Sling Size

2 slings are provided with each swing. The slings are each rated for an operating load well in excess of the rated loading of the swing assembly.

The load on the slings is spread across the branch of the tree, minimising damage to the branch. The friction of the slings on the branch during swinging will also minimise rubbing of the branch.

The base price includes the price for 2m long slings.

3m long slings should used on larger branches as follows:

2m Long Slings

The 2m long sling is suitable for smaller diameter branches (around 6inch (16cm) diameter, 20inch (50cm) circumference, and smaller.

3m Long Slings

The 3m long sling is suitable for larger diameter branches (around 6inch (16cm) diameter, 20inch (50cm) circumference, and larger.

If in doubt the 3m long slings will suit all branch sizes, although on smaller branches will have to be wrapped around several times.

Engraving

Have your special words engraved into the face of the swing. You can choose to have the engraving in the top face or under face of The Big Swing during installation.

Note, special symbols (hearts etc) can be added by special request (please ring the office), but note that all engraving is done by freehand carving. This provides part of the charm of The Big Swing, however exact geometric symmetry cannot be guaranteed.

For engraved swings, please add 7 days delivery period to those quoted.

The price of engraving is £1.50 per letter - up to 30 characters.
