The Big Swing from The Big Swing Company is a craftsman manufactured double sized garden swing designed to be suspended from a suitable tree.

The Big Swing   makes a beautiful gift, anniversary present, garden ornament or personal memento.

There is no limit to the height of the branch from which The Big Swing can be hung (safety issues having been taken into account), and once installed, your big swing will become an attractive feature in your grounds, and a location from which you and your partner can while away some contemplative and romantic minutes.

The seat of The Big Swing is manufactured from enduring hardwood Iroko that with an occasional touch of varnish will give many years of pleasure.

The seat is made from at least 2 sections of wood, with the opposing grains carefully joined. This gives the large swing much greater mechanical strength, and minimises twisting.

The rope is made from natural weather resistant 3 strand manila.

Height Adjustment

The height of The Big Swing from the ground is simply adjusted at ground level via the unique brass "Figure of Eight"

Mechanical Integrity

The Big Swing assembly has been certified for loads of up to 30 stone (190kg) in weight.

Special Engraving

Put your own endearing mark on your Big Swing, by having your chosen words engraved into the face of the swing. Special symbols (hearts etc) can be added by special request. As part of the charm of The Big Swing all engraving is carried out in freehand.

Special Box For Delivery

Each Big Swing comes specially boxed, so is suitable for gift wrapping.

Installation

Models with 3-5 metre ropes can be installed using a suitably and safely located ladder. Models with a 7 metre rope and above will need to be installed by a suitably qualified tree surgeon / arborist.
